I was experimenting with different Render Setup (Render Layers) in Maya and here are some results.
Outlines were rendered with Maya Software and applied to final composition in Photoshop using Multiply. Same goes for Rim Lighting, but using Screen effect. Here is a final composition with Spot Light and some effects, such as Noise, Blur etc.
Interesting - very 'analogue' and nostalgic :)
ReplyDeleteThat's better. He has a much more paper/nostalgic feel. However I think the hair needs a grey shader now. Otherwise it reads as being white. If you think a colour photo (or the real world) made black and white that gives you and idea of what the grey tones should/could be. Hope that makes sense and glad the videos were helpful.
